that is the best looking Runde i have ever seen.most of his cues are too busy for my taste,but that one looks cool.
 
Why isn't there a rubber bumper on the second cue fron the left? Isn't this a little dangerous? I play in NJ and the hall is carpeted. I also play in Fl. and the floors are concrete.
 
lots of true Hoppe cue don't have a bumper.i think it looks pretty good,but on concrete you may have a point.

I believe it is rosewood and it has 2 veneer looks awesome!

Bob makes some of the very best playing cues in the industry! his true connical taper is amazing and that is why people are ponying up for them! he will make less cues this year than searing or haley his total production for this year might be 4 cues, and they will be monsters!
 
i would have thought he would call his taper maybe 8 inch modified pro taper instead of conical.it really doesn't get any larger until 8 inches.maybe a few thousandths in the first couple inches then a flat spot for another 5 inches or so.
 
Captian Bob's cues

He was making around 6-6 pointers a year and a few high end cues 10K and up. Now he is making a few cues 20k and up and will probably not have time to make cues in the 2K range for a long time.
This cue,is it new? The price is the lowest I have seen in a very long time.
I don't know about that best playing thing. He makes some of the prettiest for sure.
