Hi Guys here is a new cue i just recieved from Kenny Murrell.

It is an olivewood forearm and butt sleave, Buckhorn joint and shaft collars. 3/8x11 pin. This is some seriously good looking olivewood, and the buckhorn is great in colour.

All the ringwork (Greek Key Design) is engraved directly into the buckhorn rather than made up the usual way.

Shafts are 12.8mm with Buckhorn ferrules and Kamui Tips
Weight is about 20oz (as requested)
Balance is set at 18.5" (as requested)

Please enjoy the pics. But i do apologize as i am not the greatest photographer.

I will get my friend Kamal Daswani to post a review of the cue, as he will be trying it out tomorrow.:p

:D

I Must admit the cue really does play well, much better than my expectations. Plus Kenny is great to deal with.

Nice cue for sure

I myself am not a fan of buckhorn but I will say that this is a VERY NICE looking cue.
The Olivewood and the ringwork look terrific. Thanks for posting these pictures.

I am a big fan of buckhorn! This cue looks great....kind of has a Zylr look to it....was that one of your influences?

Zylr was an influence in the design. As i wanted to keep the cue simple yet elegent.

I did not want a cue to be complicated with inlays or points.

I have no problem with buckhorn but I do have with tulipwood... and yet this cue is pulled off so nicely that on this cue even the tulip looks beautiful! This cue is PERFECT, absolutely nothing to change on it.

Not Tulipwood

I am almost certain that this cue is made of Olivewood (as it states in the thread) not Tulipwood.

Goooooosh... Now that's why I liked it :D...

What a shame on me... sorry, I won't post anymore when I'm tired like this... it's only 19:40 here but I'll fall asleep soon (had 9 lessons at school)... Sorry, next time I'll be just staring at the pictures instead of posting.

Thank you for enlightening me, I really don't know where tulip came from...

/shame/shame/shame:o

Hi,

the 'ringwork' is really outstanding, I have never seen anything similar.

My KTM is still about two months out, and I am already ticking off my friends. Have fun with yours :-)

Real nice looking cue. The ring work kind of reminds me of the famous "Grecian Urn" cue by Danny Tibbitts........

The cue is 3/4 cored, not fully cored. It definatly makes a difference to the hit. It has alot more feedback.

O so sweet kenny makes a jam up cue .
look out for the new cues coming out next year .Just order a butterfly cue .

like the cue, love the rings. not a huge fan of buckhorn.

i like my whites white and my brites brite:D :D :D

i notice the ferrules are white though....

I am not a fan of buckhorn either, but the rest of the cue is great. I really like the olive wood alot. You dont see much olive wood in cues that has alot of figure in the wood. Nice looking cue....................

Impressions

tried out the cue today ...

right off the bat, i much prefer it to Roy's SouthWest...

the cue has about 30% more power than the SW ( although it is about the same weight )... it literally lunges itself into the shot with tremendous accuracy which is a little surprising given that it has buck-horn ferrules rather than ivory...

for the price, one would be hard pressed to find better bang for the buck...

the SW is 3 times the cost... that is 300% more money ... is it 3 times better in terms of either function or form ... i doubt anyone would say yes ...

this is the second of kenny's cues that i have tried and i must say, he makes a sweet cue !

great buy, roy.....
