A member of the German billiard forum "billard-aktuell" is selling a Schon SR7. What do you think about that cue? What market value would you estimate? How much would you pay for it?

He quotes this Schon is 15 years old and just refinished. It is birdseye maple with 4 ebony points and rosewood buttsleeve. Over 100 ivory inlays. The small ringwork squares are made of ivory, as well. For this it is unique.

Thanks for your views

atm 2,800 ? that is almost 4K $...
Great price, if he is including 3 more..... Shouldn't be any more than $875-$1100usd tops.... Retail means nothing..

thx @ all up to now. :)

I do not intend to buy this one. I agree with you that the price he hopes for is excessively optimistic. It was just to get an idea and some qualified opinions about its realistic value. ;)

A great price for him if he can get it. Way over priced. Have you seen the Runde that was under $2000?

Yeah, you're right at this. I've just had at look at the Runde. It's already sold now, but really nice, as well.

bump

Any other thoughts and opinions? What does 'SR' stands for? Does this implicate that Bob Runde was involved there?
