The Carolina Open V is underway at Sporty's Nightlife and Sports Bar in Greenville, SC. A field of 54 talented players entered the Great Southern Billiard Tour event. Some notable players in attendance are: Stevie Moore, Larry Nevel, SD, Brian White, Tony Watson, Scott Rabon, Russ Edwards, & WPBA pros Monica Webb & Helena Thornfeldt. The first round is underway and one major upset was between Eric Chumley(Sommerset, KY) and hometown favorite Tony Watson. The score was 9-4. I bet you had a headache!! I got up when you left and felt sorry for you knowing you had to drive home!! UGH!! We had a great time - glad u got to come to the tourney. Tell B we said hello and ya'll take care.

The winner of The Carolina Classic V is Stevie Moore. Congratulations to him and Larry Nevel both. They both played exceptional pool all weekend here at Sporty's Nightlife and Sports Bar. We would like to thank all of our sponsors and Jimmy Hodges for hosting a great event. We will be taking the whole month of October off due to Shannon playing in the Carolina Open and the US Open. We will start back up the first weekend in November at Diamond Billiard Club in Chatt., TN. We are excited about going to the upcoming events and getting to sit back and enjoy the tourneys and not have to actually work. :) We enjoy what we do but everyone deserves a break.
