Awesome!!!

Van Boening and Schmidt have this locked up.
I wouldn't put all my eggs in one basket if I were you. Earl is gonna have to play really well. But I for one know he has the ability to win. Danny Harriman is champion. John is also a champion. I'm staying away from that one.

NICE!

I'm starting to think if pool is ever going to make it big, it might just end up being because of you guys!

These are the kinds of things people want to see...you combine all the best elements of entertainment...suspense, man vs man, money and reputations on the line, etc...it makes pool exciting and I think it's something that even the lay person could get interested in once they know the scenario and back stories.

Here's to hoping it just keeps getting bigger and better!

Harriman Vs Schmidt
Both of these guys are friends of mine, and picking a winner is not easy. I choose to let this one play itself out - it's an awesome match-up between two great CHAMPIONS! Either of these guys could win on any given day.

David,

I'll take John ;)

lol... I'm not dumb enough to bet against either of these guys... nice try though.

I think that they should have an ActionReport.com Golf event - John, Corey, Johnny Archer, Earl - I think that would be interesting! Remember John's non-floating putter on the 18th green at Windsor Parke? I'd pay to see that again!

I see from a philipine web site that John Schmidt is playing in the WPC in Manila. If he does, his plan must be to be knocked out in last 64, and run to the airport to make it for the match against Harriman;-)

The finals in WPC is Nov 11.

So is the american line up wrong? http://www.billiardsphilippines.blogspot.com/

Whether he is playing WPC or not, having the action challenge at the same time as WPC is coming to an end, may not be the best idea

I'm going with SVB (like everyone else apparently) but Earl is getting back in shape, hopefully it will be a good match.

The all around sounds great. I'm predicting JS in 14.1 and DH in 1P. I have no idea in the 10 ball but I'll go with JS.

Oh, by the way Justin, love your brochure/graphics. Very presentable looking piece of work.

Looks awesome! The pool community should thank you for these matches.

Though, I do not agree that in the event of a third set tie-breaker the winner gets all $10k. It sacrifices prize distribution fairness for only a slight increase in the excitement factor. I would keep the prize money for each event completely isolated from each other. But hey, I'm not running the show.

Thanks for the update.

John will be in Louisville. He is not going to Manilla for the WPC.

As for the dates, we work with what we have.

Thanks for the compliment sir.

The extra $100 will be decided by a second and final All Around

100 yd foot race

Indian leg wrestling

Tie breaker is a game of beer pong.

:D :D Of course I am kidding.

The last set will include the lonely C Note.

We have to do it some way. It may not be the best yet, but it is going to go off, if we can improve it next time we will.

Maybe I'm crazy, but I like Earl and Danny.

Earl gets 3 days to get to 100. He may go nuts for one day and f*&# off some games, but he will be right for at least 2 of those days and the kind of momentum he can generate in those 2 days will make the difference. Shane is gonna have to be the Tortoise in this and just keep his pace.

Now Danny vs. John, that really is a tough one, but considering John just changed equipment, I would not be certain that he will have completely adjusted. I believe Danny to be completely dialed in right now.

The upcoming US Open may say a lot about these two matches to come.

Regardless, the Action Report is stepping up to do what should have been done several years ago. I would love to see an agreement between the Action Report and BCN for some great production value and perhaps some TV Broadcast for these matches.

There may be no tour to showcase these monsters, but one way or another the stars will shine!

So the 10 ball is for the tie breaker only. Will a coin flip be used to determine which is played first, 14.1 or 1 hole?

I understand that perfectly, and its great that you arrange these matches. I just think you could get more viewers globally, and therefore be more financially rewarded if it didnt collide with the final days of the WPC in Manila.

Good luck anyway, hope it works out fine.
