I just received this cue, hit with it for a bit and have it back up for sale... it's just not my cup o' tea.

Here is the description that Varney himself originally wrote:

"Well I started off with two used hustlers for sale but Bomber bought one sight unseen earlier. So...here is the one I have left. Its a 2001 Varney fancy hustler playing cue. This cue was made for a player using a Cognoscenti so its cut very similar. The cue is 57 1/2" and 18.5oz and the shaft is 12.75mm and 3.89oz. The ferrule is Melamine & the tip is a fresh Everest. This cue is a fullsplice 4pt rosewood into maple with a Radial pin joint. The rosewood is extremely dark and very good looking. The cue has brown linen phenolic joint collars & buttcap with dashed blk & white Micarta ringwork. The "hit" is incredible...I honestly have played with it for several days trying to decide if I was keeping it. Of course I also play with 57 1/2" as my choice on my personal cue...so this cue feels exceptionally good to me. You will not be dissapointed with the hit & playability. And of course the price is far from 2007 retail"

$350

How about a nice Torino Butterfly Conversion???

Heya Ross,

Nice looking cue!

I personally think Kevin makes a very nice cue but the 57" maybe something you don't think feels quite right????

I've got a 59" Torino Butterfly cue I've converted that I might be willing to trade!?!?

Hope all is well is the Emerald City,

Ken ;)
