last time the payout was something like this:
1st $2000.00 plus calcutta
2nd $1250.00 plus calcutta
3rd $ 750.00 plus calcutta
4-5 $ 500.00 plus calcutta
6-9 $ 250.00
the calcutta had a little over 2 grand in it

with only two tournaments left you need to come ready to win
men must play 6 weeks or win one to qualify
ladies must play 3 weeks or win one to qualify
NO MEN MASTER PLAYERS ALLOWED

$10.00 entry weekly
$20.00 entry final
as always ladies play for free

I have to play in the Masters locally, but play in the open at nationals in Vegas.

thank you to BIG TRUCK for coming out we really enjoyed having you at the tournament last night.
you almost got it on one try, but a supurb showing none the less.
everybody played well and a large time was had by all.

I had to play league last night. :(

Doc was "sick"....though I am not quite sure how that is different than normal :D

Doc was "sick". Guess I better make some chicken soup for him to get better. Or maybe I will just buy him a shot a tequila to make him forgot all his woes.

Get better cupcake! I'm coming out for some action tomorrow night, so bring your moolah as well. You are giving me the blue through and all the breaks....capeche'?

I had a great time!! After getting the hot seat, I thought I could finish it but I just ran out of fuel!!:D That Gary Vanover is one great sport. I enjoyed playing him and the others there. I hope to get back for another chance some time!!!

I'm happy you didn't make it, I've heard your are tough to beat!;)

This was my first time at Texas Billiards and I must say, it is a great place!! The people working there were all friendly and helpful, Dennis was very attentive to everything going on. It was a very good experience and will definetely be back! I wished I could've got qualified last week, but just fell a little short. Dennis said the food is really good too! I didn't get a chance to eat, but look forward to it next time.

LOL - I didn't look close enough and totally thought you were responding to someone else!

I did get second place twice at the weekly tournament, but I didn't start playing until the big guns had already won and couldn't play anymore. ;) I do love 8 ball, though. :p

YES - everyone is so nice there. And I LOVE the food. :) Dennis (the tournament director) and the owner really take care of the players!
