Hello everyone!

I am putting up my Olivewood and Black Palm Sugartree cue for sale.

The cue has a Bethlehem Olivewood forearm and butt sleeve. The handle is Black Palm. There is checkered ring work on A B and E made from Koa and phenolic. Collars and Butt cap are brown phenolic. It rolls straight and apart and has one awsome shaft on it.

This cue has been my primary cue since I purchased it here on EPT. It has really helped my game and (for me) helped make english and longer cut shots easier. I used it for everything including breaking.

The entire time I have had this cue, I have kept it as pristine as I possibly could. The cue looks great and feels "warm". I truly enjoyed owning the cue so much. Again, I can say that it has helped me with my personal game because of the increased feedback the cue gave me as I was stroking and shooting. Now this is not to say that it will make your game better, but for me, it did.

Here are the stats on it:

Joint- 3/8x10 Stainless
Weight- 19.7 Ounces
Length- 58 1/2 inches
Ferrule- LBM 12.65mm
Balance point- 18 1/2 inches from butt
Tip- Sumo water buffalo

I am asking for $850 for the cue shipped to the continental US. (Paypal add 3%). I will not be interested in any trades at this time. Since the birth of my son, I have lost much of my desire to shoot pool :) So a trade wouldn?t do much good for me.

Send me a PM if interested or have any questions.
Thanks for reading and taking the time everyone! :)
Victor

Condition: Please read carefully and see the accompanying pictures for any details. As the cue has been my primary playing cue, there is some bluing of the shaft. There is also a stain on the ferrule and a blot near the collar that were there since I purchased the cue. These can be seen in the photos. The olivewood forearm has some checks that were there when the wood was being turned. The checks were filled with epoxy and cleared by Eric as structurally sound. The finish on the butt is 99%. Please refer to the pictures and let me know if there are any questions!

Here are the pictures! ENJOY

Sold pending confirmation and payment

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to inform that the cue has been sold pending confirmation and payment. If things fall through there is a list of backups that I will contact.

Thanks everyone for the inquiries!

Congrats on the sell. Just about 3hrs. Someone will be very happy with an Olivewood hitter. Hope you won't regret it Vic.

LOL I may regret it someday. But ever since my son was born, I haven't wanted to play pool at all. Even as he grows up, I think I would rather spend my free time taking him fishing or camping.

Then when he gets to high-school or college, Ill teach him how to shoot pool and tell him of the time I used to own a Sugartree lol But your right Joey, that olivewood had a special "pop" to it that really did help me learn the game I think. It also has such a great honey color.

Be sure to teach him to play pool. I have 2 sons, one is 33 and one is 27. We play together on pool leagues and have been to Vegas together 4 times for nationals, as well as many other team events over the last few years. It is great to have something in common with them as they have reached adulthood and we all travelled in different directions, professionally. I love it.

That's is just awsome. No matter how old we get, we still love playing with the kids right? :)

Vic

Congrats on the baby!

Keep in mind that having kids and playing pool isn't mutually exclusive. I have young twins (well, they're four now...) and as soon as I get them down at night I go down to my basement and practice for a while. Very relaxing after dealing with screaming kids, wife, etc.

In fact, once I got a home table I stopped moping about never being able to go out anymore!!

Yea if I had a table at home, I don't think I would have sold the cue. That way we could have played from home. But without a table at home, I would have had to take him to a pool hall locally. Arround here you have to be 18 or older to enter. Now if I had one at home.... pool time would be family time lol. Heck id let him watch barney from the felt ;)

Also just to let everyone know that the sale has finalized.

dang Joe .. I didn't know you were such an old fart :D ... gotta give u more respect :)

Jazz, on some days I feel older than dirt, but on good days, I only feel older than trees.

It is like Waylon Jennings said.."If I had known that I would live this long, I would have taken better care of myself."

I have two grandsons that I love playing pool with, ages 15 & 12. Playing pool together provides time for Grandpa to talk about life, decisions, difficulties growing up, girls, booze & other drugs... everything. Stuff just gets brought up. No need for lectures & such. Just shootin the breeze & playing some pool. I talk about what I was like as a kid and they realize that adults are just older kids. Non-threatening and fun!

I am bummed I didn't get on line sooner. I'd have bought this cue instantly. Put me on the list if you still have a list :(

Guess those cues must suck, huh ?? :) ;) :p :D

Yea, Sean...the market is so slow and all, it took a couple of hours instead of 15 minutes......

Yeah, I discovered that the market isn't THAT slow. I just sold a cue here without even listing it and got a fair market value to boot.

It is only slow if you are trying to peddle cues that are not really in demand.
