Here for sale is my own personal j/b. My new one is about ready so I'm going to let this one find a new home. Nothing fancy, just pure performance. Not much to say about this one, you can see all from the pics....except...its a 22oz BEAST!!!! :D This thing absolutely destroys the rack...and thats putting it mildly. Believe me...when you buy the cuemakers own personal cue, its going to be the stone cold nuts. This thing isn't for the weak or faint of heart. You'll also notice the jump handle is about 1" longer than my already long standard handles. It jumps so easy I won't even describe it. The deal with the heavy weight is that you can take almost 50% off your break power & focus on control, parking the cueball in the center of the table...while about guaranteed to make a ball on every break. If your break is less than stellar...here is the cure.:D The tip/ferrule looks a bit different too...it is a black unbreakable composite ferrule with my brown canvas resin tip threaded into the ferrule...the tip & ferrule are warrantied for life. I made this cue back in 2001, used it for a few years then sold it to a friend. Got it back in trade & have pretty much used it ever since. Both pins are 3/8-10. All points are sharp & even. Also notice the color of the shaftwood...near impossible the get wood this dense anymore. The maple in the forearm also has no stain...its just that dark & dense. My base j/b's sell for $375 with a waiting list. This cue is straight & dingfree with just some very slight bluing on the shaft. I've kept my cue pretty much like new. I'll offer this one for the first $XXX and you get the luxury of no waiting. I'll pull it out of my Whitten & ship it immediately. USPS Priority Mail shipping included in the price. Thank you for looking & if interested...don't snooze...I doubt this one last long. The last one I listed here sold in about 2 minutes.:)

Dave read my sales text...I explained it a bit.;)
And thank you for the kind words.:)

Everyone must have been playing league pool which is the only reason that it took a bit over an hour for someone to commit to the cue.
That is one nice cue and the initial offer price was set to move the cue.

Awesome cue but now I hope to see your latest player.
Myron

Thank you everyone for all the kind words. Its a bit hard to part with something you've used daily for so long. My last set I used it...it snapped the 9 in 3 times. My friend Banks is lurking around here & can confirm it since I was playing him. This cue truly gives meaning to the tired phrase "hits a ton"!:D
It is on its way to a new home in Vegas...enjoy Lisa & thank you for your business.:)

9 on the break mostly has to do with how it's racked not much with how it's broke. Gj though.

Why are you perpetuating the myth that the 9 on the snap 3 times in a row could have anything to do with the break cue or for that matter even the breaker? It's from poor racking.

I've made the 9 on the snap 3 times in a row with a house cue. Why? Because the cloth was worn in such a way that it was impossible to get a perfectly tight rack, in particular in the bottom 3 balls.

A local pool hall uses "rack spots" that, when installed correctly, ensure a perfect rack every time. Every ball is frozen. No matter how hard you smack the pack, or from any angle, the 9 barely moves. The only way it goes in is if balls go off a couple rails and happen to knock it in, which is rare enough that you never see it happen 3 times in a row.

Not to mention, in professional tournaments with proper racking, how often do you see the 9 ball move far from the spot, let alone go in 3 times in a row? Or are you trying to tell us that you, and your cue, are better than every professional in the US Open?

By the way, at this year's US Open, they used a Chameleon rack instead of a Sardo, and it (the Chameleon rack) did not do a good job at all. It was so bad, I think I'm gonna start a thread abvout it in the main forum and see what other people thought. Despite that, I didn't see anyone make the 9 three times in a row.

Make no mistake, I am quite sure your J/B cue is awesome. But the paragraph you wrote to hype it hurts your credibility.

a lot on which pocket(s) the nine is going into. If it's going into either of the foot spot corner pockets, it was probably a bad rack, but, if it's going into any of the other four pockets, it could be a good sign that the break was very hard with a lot of balls flying around the table.

And FWIW, I believe he stated three nines on the break in his last set, not three nines in a row.

JMO, which isn't worth a nine on the break. LOL.
