Recently I had a few lessons from Joe Villalpando. He showed me some amazing things that I had no clue about before. I mean how to precisely shoot a calculated 1,2, and 3 rail kick, and some amazing cue ball control drills. I had always used feel and experience when playing these shots, but now I know that there is a system that works and is very accurate. I am hiting over a very high percent of object balls that I am kicking at now (if not making). That is a huge part of the game. When someone plays a safe you need to be able to kick out of it. I was amazed when he was showing me, but thought to myself, am I going to be able to do this when I leave here? I have been going to the pool room and practicing these shots and they are really easy to incorporate into your game. The amazing thing is that how many times these shots come up during the course of a game. Simply amazing.

Sorry, I know that this has been talked about on here before, but I just wanted to get on and give my take on how my experience went w/ Joe. He is a great instructor and I would highly advise anyone to work w/ him. I had heard good things about him before and this is why I wanted to take a session w/ him, and It was way better than I imagined. I will be going back for more. Thanks Joe!:)

Good Guy!

Yep, Joe is the real deal when it comes to instructors. His DVD's are a big help too and when I need to I pick up a phone and call Joe. He returns calls! I'm always impressed when someone will return a call knowing that I was just calling to ask a question or yak.

Joe is very near the top on my "good guy" list just because of the person he is. Add that he is super knowledgeable and can communicate his knowledge and he is a real winner.

Pool IQ

I have had the privilege of not only buying both of Joe's videos but I have also had some lessons from Joe as well. His video's are outstanding in showing you how easy it can be to hit your object ball from anywhere on the table. The clock system makes it easier for me and you as well to understand where the cue ball can be hit and how it can be manupilated. If you already have is video's you know what I'm talking about, if you don't you're missing out on your chance to become a better player. These video's are outstanding.

Jay said it best... Joe's the real deal. He's a great guy and a highly experienced and vastly knowledgeable pool teacher. He knows how to get his information across and you have fun while he's taking your game to a new level. Get his DVD's if he's not close to you.
