Hey Azer's,

Pictures are still on our website www.highendcues.com under Scruggs

Anyone who knows this seller (sltjr64) please let us know.. They haven't responded through Ebay yet..
This seller has many cues on Ebay, and says one came from Dr. WU..

This cue was stolen at Hopkins show in PA. The seller is from canonsburg, PA,
The guy who stole our cues was heavy guy, and with his wife and kids..
Thanks
Ken

It appears cuecomponents had a deal with him. They might still have his information

Oh snap! Man, I hope you catch the thief! Obviously, it may not be this guy, but either way, I love proper justice stories!!!!

Time to call in the A-Team!!!

So, what happened? Did the guy just walk off with your stuff when you turned your back? Also, wonder what he's doing with one of Wu's cues if he's a theif....

Canonsburg is just south of Pittsburg.
Hopefully getting the address for a money order works.
OR...
Onther thing that someone may try to do is convince the seller to let them see it in person and maybe that way get an address as well. But it would have to be someone from Pittsburg are.

Hoping to see this cue recovered and the guilty people at least caught.
Good find for who ever let Ken know about it.

Anybody wanna take odds that every cue he's got on ebay is stolen? For the Kersenbrock he says "very difficult to obtain". Get the rope

He takes paypal...where there's paypal there's a street address...contact paypal and tell them it's stolen and you need the address...

Ken-
You could always consider trying something like this: Have a shill bidder bid on the cue and contact the seller saying that he lives close enough that he would like to test hit the cue or pick it up in person, etc., etc.

This leaves both you and Ken Carfagno in the clear as there is no mention of you guys at all. Then, if a meeting between buyer and seller does take place, you can figure out how to proceed from there.

Just an idea.

You can't bid,it might tip him off. So get a friend to bid high, win the auction, pay with Paypal, then get the sucker not only for theft, but selling stolen goods too.

I'd use credit card with paypal. I think the credit card companies will go to bat better for the customer when the cue proves to be stolen. Pay Pal may drag it's feet on the refund. Better yet contact the local PD and set up a sting for all "his" cues. This guy is probably no stranger to them.

Hey guys,
Have to go through channels of Ebay to get personal info.....
This person hasn't responded yet..
We don't know if he is the theif or has bought if from someone else..
He has made no contact yet...
He has been made aware of the cue being stolen and of AZB through ask seller questions, from many people..
It would be very stupid to sell the cue on Ebay.. Even though it's been 1 1/2 years now since stolen..
The lack of response from him is questionable..
This happen to be Ken.C's cue and he can identify the guy...
Best
Ken

I've got a really novel idea.....

Call the police.

This is the correct thing to do. As long as you filed a police report in Valley Forge when the item was stolen, the ball is in their court. Let them get all the answers to all the questions. If the guy is innocent, everything will be just fine. If he is the thief, that should come out also. They are the pros and you won't have any liability from trying to be an investigator.

And they have resources you don't have to get it back. I am sure Ebay response to "this is Lt. John Public of the VFPD, I am enquiring about ---" is a lot faster than anyone else would get.

eBay will release their contact information on the seller to you (assuming you are an eBay member) if you are a bidder on the auction. The request is processed immediately, eBay sends your contact info to him and his to you instantaneouly. Contact info will show name, city, state, zip and a contact phone number. Please let me know if I can be of assistance.

I just might bid on this baby and send him a "fake" money order. How funny would that be? Of course, someone needs to do it under some assumed name or ID. On the other hand, he may have bought the cue not knowing it was stolen. He might have given a grand for it , thinking he stole it. Ya know?
