Predator Air Video's, 3 different Jump Shots

I reviewed the New Predator Air Jump cue in another thread - http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=78154 - and was asked to shoot some video's of the different jump shots. The cue is three piece. The front two pieces are radically light, and the back piece adds weight. This makes the cue very versatile.

Long Carry Shot

I showed this shot to show how nicely the ball carries and still is pretty accurate. This is shot with the full length cue (47 1/2"). It's about as easy to aim as any other jacked up shot because you don't have to elevate too much. This cue is easier to aim than typical 40" jump cues.

Side Pocket Short Jumps

The cue excels at these shots. I'm still working with the cue but these shots are not very difficult to control. This is shot full length. I'm shooting some of them with a jump draw stroke.

Dart Stroke, Elevated Bridge

Taking the butt section off, this thing is amazing. It takes some practice but these little pop flys are a kick to shoot!

Nothing like getting a little tail wagged at you to come off the shot!

Nice vids Chris!! A little more practice and you will be pretty consistent with those jump shots.

Russ.....

Nice vids... looks like a decent product. I had my doubts when I saw the proto at VF last year...

Question: With the 2 butt pieces screw together, will it still fit in the jump-butt pocket of a standard instroke case?

I don't think so. The handle piece together measure 19" including the joint screw, most cases have a 14" or so pocket.

By the time I'm good at them, my cloth is going to look like the moon!

Nope the one in Hollywood Ca.

I have been to both and trust me when I tell you that the scenery is much much better at the one in Ca.

I liked the one in Fl also but its more of a players room. I played a tournament there once and beat Searing. They jacked my handicap up right then and there in the middle of the tourney. I was pissed and DS was even telling them that they were crazy. He just missed some balls that he normally doesnt miss.

Chris thanks for leting me/us see the cue in action. I'm glad i am getting one, it should come in handy considering my poor speed control (always seem to hook myself). And thanks for the review as well. Keep up the great shooting.

Hah! Before you know it a hard hat will be required in the pool room. I don't have and holes yet, but they are a little hard on the cloth.

TATE,
One hell of a nice set up you got there. I just can't help but notice thee IRONY of the situation. You are practicing jump shots and yet you use a break cloth. ;)

Thanks - hope things are going well with you.

I decided I'm going to get good at jumping. My last pool room didn't allow it so I never practiced. After I wear out this cloth I'll make my wife happy with tournament blue.
