This is a really cool old Bob Frey SP

This cue is dead straight, together and apart. A very minor scratch in the finish on the butt sleeve right above the butt cap.

Specs:
-19 ounces
-One shaft, 13mm
-Irish linen wrap (It looks like it's white with tan specs)
-Straight grain maple forearm
-Goncola Alves fullsplice
-Black delrin butt cap with "F" logo

I'd wager that you won't find a better playing Sruggs or Frey SP on the planet!

CUE IS SOLD :)

Here's the story!?

Bob Frey used to be a partner and/or work with Tim Scruggs back in the day.....it's been suggested (many times) that Bob had actually made most, if not all, of the SP cues coming out of Tim's shop!?!?

I don't really know who made all of the TS SP's but, I can tell you this is an Older "Vintage" Bob Frey SP :)

We believe it is a fullsplice Goncalo Alves handle with a very nice original wrap!

What I can tell you is that this particular cue shoots every bit as good or, better than any other TS SP that I've owned -- and, yes I've owned more than a couple ;)

$325 is the reduced price

Hello!

Hi Scott....how you doing in Seattle!? :) You need to do a road trip and come see us some time!! ;)

This cue is a very NICE example of Bob's work....if you want a SP with a wrap then here you go -- it shoots as good as any TS SP I've had but, then again who the heck knows -- they might all be Bobs'

Ken, I still look forward to it - I HAVE actually successfully taken Amtrak since that last derailment debacle, so I know it works.

Regarding this Fry SP - his new ones are all 3/8x10 and I am sorry to say this, but I don't like the hit....but this one that you are selling is the old 5/16x14 like he made for Tim Scruggs, so I would expect it to play just like a Scruggs SP, which is one of my favorite cues. Wish I could buy it, but I'm over-cued by 2-3 right now. :)

Good luck!
