Varney Cues

Handcrafted quality!

SOLD!!!
Here is a brand new 2007 Varney j/b for sale. Its a very unique combination...a bocote 4pt into purpleheart fullsplice. This cue features natural brown phenolic for the joint collars and buttcap. The buttcap also has dashed Micarta ringwork. The pins are dual steel 3/8-10 pins and the cue weighs 20.2oz with no weight bolt. The cue is also has the slick auto clear. Heres an added bonus...this cue has my shaft upgrade. Its one of my 13mm lam shafts that are ultra stiff...the perfect set-up on a j/b cue. The ferrule is brown canvas resin & the tip is my newest race trick. As I've stated before its not a white diamond tip...lets call it a White Kevin for lack of better term.:D Its harder than the white diamond, canvas resin, phenolic, even harder than G10. This is the hot ticket on a j/b for ultimate performance. And of course the tip & ferrule are warrantied for life. I hate to over use the phrase but this thing is indeed a MONSTER!!! If you want the nuts in a performance j/b that looks different than all the rest then don't snooze, this one won't last long. My base j/b's sell for $375 faster than I can make them and this one has upgrades...the unique exotic wood fullsplice, lam shaft, Micarta ringwork, and my latest tip...with no waiting...its ready to ship tomorrow. I'll take XXXX Thanks for looking.:)

Nicely done. Will make a great addition to anyone's arsenal.

The ferrule/tip combination looks too nice to mess up with chalk. :D

thats a rare combination and the lack of a wait time makes the cue even better. whats the over under on this? i'm gonna say it sells in a day.

Very nice...reminds me of a Sugartree I saw recently. Bet it plays great!

Yes...its the sister of the Sugartree...LOL. Very similar blanks. Except Eric's cue was $800+. :)

Such a pretty cue

Damn, it is almost a shame that it is a JB as that would be a nice looking playing cue.

Kevin is an incredible tease.

Nice nice cue.

Yes Ken...originally I had the plan of it being a player. After the cue was roughed in I hit some balls with it...WOW...man did it hit hard. One of the hardest hitting cues I've built. Not sure if it was the fullsplice wood combo or what...but it'd loosen the fillings in my teeth. I immediately decided it would serve best as a j/b...and I made it so.

Had some very close offers on this cue....almost a couple deals. I get $200 just for the lam shaft. You guys know I'll sell it quick with a little closer offer.;)

Damn Kevin, you just keep outdoing yourself. I have never owned a j/b that delivered like my Varney. From what I'm hearing the new tips and the laminated shafts step up the performance considerably. I honestly dont know how you can best the performance of the cue that I have now, but it is what it is. On top of that the cue looks fantastic. The wood combination is stunning. Best of luck with your sale Kevin, but I dont think that you will need it. Whoever buys this cue, will be more than satisfied in every aspect.

The cue looks great and if i could afford it I would like to try out the laminated shaft for breaking and get you to build a playing shaft also like the one I got from you 3 years ago with two shafts. I've heard at several of the local poolrooms how good the laminated shaft and white tip cues are breaking and jumping. Maybe I can get one for Christmas, I'll go wake up the wife and see. Good luck and Merry Christmas to all,--Leonard

SOLD!!!
Thank you to everyone for the nice comments...happy customers are the reason why I try so hard to build the best performing cues possible.
Happy holidays to everyone!:)
