A local cue builder named Joe Mathesius has quietly been building full spliced cues for about ten years here in Washington State. Here is his last master piece. All white is ivory. His finish is fabulous, and his points are dead nuts on. Joe is a perfectionist. He's also a world class nuclear welder, besides having seniority tenureship of the Math department at a local college. His pride shows up in his cue building skills also. The other cues Joe has converted or made from scratch.

Enjoy,

John

Very Nice work, I am located in Lakewood, Wa and I am the owner of Full Splice Billiards. I always like to promote Washington State Cue Makers, ask the gentleman if he is interested in selling me a couple of his Full Splice cues for resale in Western Washington. The work looks really nice, and I can certainly see a market for it on this side of the Cascades!!!!

Thanks for the Peek at this gentlemans work, I am very impressed!!!!Please Pm me if interested!!!

Happy New Year!!!!!!!!

Manwon,

I'll ask Joe when he gets back from Seattle if he is interested in sending a couple cues your way. They look a lot like fancy Martins when you see them up close, they are absolutely beautiful. The craftsmanship is spectacular! He only builds a couple cues a year. It may be tough to get one from him.

Happy New Year!!!

John that is ok, their are many cue makers who do not want to really making building cue a full time job. I am starting to feel that myself, when I reitred from the US Army I really did not what to put myself back on a time clock. With all the repair work and cue building I am doing at this time, it is starting to feel to much like work!!!!!!!:D

Either way let me know, and thanks for the consideration!!!!!!!
