I have a 58" Tim Scruggs cocobolo player cue that's cored and has two shafts (non ivory ferrules) & everything's straight. The shafts are around 12.5mm and it weighs in at jut under 19oz, but you can add or remove weight. I tweeked it until it felt good to me. The cue plays awesome, moves the cueball like crazy w/very little deflection. The only issue is that the 2nd shaft is about 1/2" (maybe a hair more) shorter than the one that makes the cue 58". I do not know why, but both shafts play really well and those that try the cue think that the shorter shaft would be what they would use on a bar table although I like it period.
I am going to show it locally Saturday to 2 people who said they want it, but they didn't have money last time so I'm not too optimistic. I will sell it for $850 shipped/ins in the continental US. It has a few dings but nothing through the finish and looks really good. If you provide me with your email I would be happy to send you pictures.
I'm sure you've seen some of Tim's sneaky peat advertised for $600-$730 w/one shaft, so this is a steal. You will always be able to get your money out of it because it's a Scruggs, but you probably won't want to sell it. It's the cue I least want to sell but I can't put down my Judd.
