Here is a really nice cue by David Tice. This is supposed to be the only G-10 cue that David made. He also felt that it was the best hitting cue that he ever built, which says a lot. It is a very sweet, firm hitting cue with great balance.
The shafts for this cue are David's laminated shafts. He makes these from scratch, and ages them for years before beginning the turning process. Once he starts turning them, it takes 2 years to complete the process. They are excellent playing shafts.
I am selling this for a friend who is giving up the game, so no trades. This cue was made to his specs by David. David is no longer building cues.
Specifications:
- 59" long (both shaft and butt are 29.5")
- Butt: 15.5 ounces
- Shaft 1: 4.2 ounces, 12.8mm, LBM, Sniper
- Shaft 2: 4.2 ounces, 12.75mm, LBM, Sniper
- Shaft 3: 4.2 ounces, 12.8mm, LBM, Sniper
- Joint: G-10 pin, rosewood joint
- Rings: Very highly detailed ringwork at all positions, A/B/C/D/E
- Forearm: Nicely grained Macassar Ebony
- Points: Eight razor sharp tulipwood points in the forearm (4 hi-4 lo) and 8 reverse tulipwood points in the butt
- Wrap: Solid black irish linen
- Butt sleeve: Nicely grained Macassar Ebony
- Butt cap: Black phenolic
SOLD!! Thanks!
Joe
