Here is a really nice cue by David Tice. This is supposed to be the only G-10 cue that David made. He also felt that it was the best hitting cue that he ever built, which says a lot. It is a very sweet, firm hitting cue with great balance.

The shafts for this cue are David's laminated shafts. He makes these from scratch, and ages them for years before beginning the turning process. Once he starts turning them, it takes 2 years to complete the process. They are excellent playing shafts.

I am selling this for a friend who is giving up the game, so no trades. This cue was made to his specs by David. David is no longer building cues.

Specifications:

- 59" long (both shaft and butt are 29.5")
- Butt: 15.5 ounces
- Shaft 1: 4.2 ounces, 12.8mm, LBM, Sniper
- Shaft 2: 4.2 ounces, 12.75mm, LBM, Sniper
- Shaft 3: 4.2 ounces, 12.8mm, LBM, Sniper
- Joint: G-10 pin, rosewood joint
- Rings: Very highly detailed ringwork at all positions, A/B/C/D/E
- Forearm: Nicely grained Macassar Ebony
- Points: Eight razor sharp tulipwood points in the forearm (4 hi-4 lo) and 8 reverse tulipwood points in the butt
- Wrap: Solid black irish linen
- Butt sleeve: Nicely grained Macassar Ebony
- Butt cap: Black phenolic

SOLD!! Thanks!

Joe

Thanks for the kind words. You will find info on David Tice on pages 794-795 of the 3rd Edition, Blue Book of Pool Cues. An excellent cue maker.

I believe Santos Sambajon used to play with a Tice. Very nice cue.

Dave Tice is well known out here in the PNW. He made some very beautiful cues using some very striking wood combinations. Although I have never hit a ball with a Tice, I am told they are sweet.

GL with the sale, Joe.

Gorgeous cue Joe.....Davids ringwork, points, etc. well, it's Top Shelf for sure! Best of luck with the sale ;)

David Tice is another cuebuilder that makes a great playing cue. This is the nicest one i've seen. The ringwork is awesome, and I love the wood combination.

Danny Louie , the World Champion plays with a Dave Tice cue. Dave is quitting the cue business, so buy this cue. You won't be unhappy.poolrod.

Rod...good to know. I did not know that. I hit with this cue for a while this morning. It is really an awesome player. Very, very solid hit and excellent cue ball control.

Joe

that isn't the only dave tice with a G-10 my friend has one that looks very similar into design as this one with a g-10. He is a perfectionist.

Dave makes a great cue. I don't know why he's quitting.
