Here are pics of my 2 newest to me Tim Scruggs cues. I just had the top cue refinished at Tim's shop and it has a titanium radial pin ivory joint. The previous owner of the bottom cue stated that the cue is original with the exception of the wrap done by Mike Capone and the finish is near flawless. It has a 5/16x14 piloted micarta joint which has an amazing hit. Enjoy!

Nice

Wow. Two nice examples of the great work that comes out of Tim Scrugg's shop. Thanks for posting the nice pictures of these as Tim's cues are some of my favorite cues.

I absolutely adore that bottom cue, and can only imagine the play of it sir...........:)
Thanks! Both cues play phenominal. I was surprised how crisp the hit of the micarta joint was but the top one is my player.

Did the second Scruggs, Frey era cue come from J.P. to Jeremy?
Yes I did aquire the cue from Jeremy, why do you ask? What is officially the Frey era? I talked to Mike and he said he made the cue for a good friend in '82

I knew you would love it when I sent it to you!

That thing was a player. You must have really loved everything about it!
Except the weight.:D
Congrats,
Nick :)

Yes I do Nick. With the new titanium radial pin it hits even better. It is by far the best hitting cue I have ever felt. There was just no way that I could play with a 20oz. cue but I love the classic look of the cue. It is perfect now!
