now those are great looking cues at great prices!!! especially that sugartree i've seen those for like 1250 (it didn't sell though)!

have been thinking about a way to determine shaft flex, want to include in my post when selling...

what do you guys think about a deflection board?

use to use one to determine golf shaft flex, pretty straight fwd type of thing...

but that may complicate things and get into opinions...

anyway just thinking out loud...

I like the Mason cue....I wonder what it would take to get a second matching shaft w/buckhorn ferrule!! Does that cue play pretty stiff? I imagine it does....is it 58" or is it longer?

as far as the shaft goes, I would contact Mason directly... the cue does play stiff, it is a phenomenal 9 ball cue... the length is 57.5"...

Mason Q update

Hello,

Mason Q update here...

spoke with Mason earlier this evening and has made quite an offer for the new owner...

since this cue was made to spec for the previous owner -

he will free of charge -

1) re-taper shaft if desired
2) install new tip

considering that this a "diamond grade" shaft from Eric Crisp's stock this is quite an offer... and I must say that I have rarely if ever heard of a cuemaker making this sort of commitment, so that should sweeten the deal even more!!!

hats off to MasonH, a star in the making, the making of cues that is...
