here is a cue that was ordered and the customer wasn't in a postion to buy when it was finished.it is Tulipwood into Madagascar Ebony,which is reported to be a little better than Gaboon.the wood is very black but has gorgeuos streaks in it.the hit is very nice.the Madagascar is recommended over Gaboon for musical instruments since the tone is better.
the cue weighs in at 18.9oz and 57.5" long.it has the G-10 3/8-10 pin with the .308" minor.balance point is 18.5" from the butt and the shaft is 13mm with the new yellow micarta ferrule and a Kamui med soft tip.the collars are tan phenolic.the points didn't come out perfectly even on this blank but they are within a 1/4".there is an Ebony butt sleeve as well.the price is $350.
