Looking at a Meucci Casino 10

Good day all. I've been going crazy the last month trying to find a new shooter. The stores in my area don't carry any higher end production cues in stock. I had been leaning towards a Predator. I ended up winning a shopping trip from my work. Sales contest where the owner takes us out to dinner and then we get 1500.00 CAD to spend in a mall. So that changed my focus a bit. The mall has one games room store that can order just about anything from Cuestix international. The Preds that I want aren't in stock and months away.

Looking at other products, the Meucci's have always caught my eye. The Casino series in particular.

Casino 10 is the one on my mind.

Anybody have any recent experience with Meucci? Is all the internet hate justified or a case of all the bad reviews and posts float to the top.

Also am I sleeping on a brand/cue that I should have a look at from the Cuestix options?

Thank you in advance.

Meucci got a bad reputation for lead time and service. They were bought out about a year and a half ago and the new owners have really focused on quality and service. They have done a great job on both. I have toured their plant and was so impressed that I eventually bought one. The inlays are cut manually with a pantograph and the inlays a placed by hand...their cues are still hand-made. I couldn't spend the money on a Casino but I am on the lookout for a good used one. I bought another Meucci in an auction late last year and sent it back to get reworked in Jan.. It took about 6 weeks and I am very pleased with how it turned out. Also, I have heard good things about their carbon fiber shaft, but I use the Pro shaft and rally like the feel.

Good to know. Thanks for the feedback. I've always heard great things about the brand when I played years ago. Seen a few in person, never had the pleasure of shooting with one. For production cues I feel they're the most beautiful out there. I know it's subjective. Would love to tour the factory one day.

I wish the company would do better marketing on social. I'd love to see something like what Taylor made does for golf. (Same could be said of all manufactures)

They have started doing some marketing... I think they wanted to be confident that they had improved their quality, service and lead time before they started marketing. They have recently redone their website as well.
