nice looking line....is it just me or are the butt sleeves really short though?

how does the extension work? does it screw into the butt?

Yes they are short, the wraps are longer and are where you actually hold the cue. The extension threads in where the bumper is held in.

If I were to have a cue wrapped, that's how I'd have it as well.

Short butt sleeve + stacked leather = hottness.

My personal cue is wrapped this way. What I love about the wrap is that even though I'm not that tall and don't normally hold it too far back, there are a lot of shots where I'm reaching and it's nice to have the same feel.

By the way my cue was made in 89 specifically for Paul Thornley the way he ordered it so I have to give him credit for having such a great cue made.

I've seen these db/Falcon cues in person and the pictures don't do them justice, especially the forarms that are truly amazing.

Hi When you say Radial type pin, What is that exactly?? You say designed in Canada, Where are they made.?? I like the looks of the cues a lot, but does it have a weird joint pin I can not get a custome shaft to fit.???? Jim

Wraps can be changed for a small fee and the pin is a common radial thread so custom shafts can be made easy. The extensions are 5-6 inches long and will be about $30.The are made in Falcons factory over seas(not the one in China)These cues should be on the market in early September and can be shipped anywhere.

When you say common Radial thread, What does that mean? What thread is it , and who else uses it, and where can a tap and pins be purchased???/ Thanks Jim

Hi I have always like Falcon Cues. I used to sell them when Comp Sports handled them in the States . I really like what I see. Very pretty cues. If they had a COMMON pin like 3/8 x 10 or 11 , I feel they would sell better instead of telling everyone they have a common thread. I think this is B.S. I think haveing cues made in the Far East and then selling them in N.America, with a well known name , is kinda like not telling the whole truth, like common thread. I used to sell Lucasis and I went to Jacksonville , Fl and met up with the x-GM of the inport co. I had my favoite Lucasi with me, I asked (name withheld) how much this cue cost you. He said about $23.00 dollars. It was to sell for $260. and my cost was $130.. Maybe common thread pins are cheeper also..... jim

Radial Pin is becoming very popular with cuemakers, both production and custom cue wise. Provides a really solid hit, never played with one, but people I know have them. Not sure the dimensions of the thread itself, but im sure if you google something like Billiards radial pin, you will come up with lots of hits.. mostly for cues..but it should still give you an idea of what it is

P.S Radial Pins are also available on Predator Shafts as one of their standard joints

When I say common, I mean Radial as a brand name and made by the guys who make Uni-loc. Not some cheap copy. The taps are avalible thru Atlas or Prather and Im sure some other guys as well.Sorry for the confusion.

If that is the pin you are useing I owe you a apoligy . There are so many cues being made with someodd ball thread and pitch, and useing the name radial, which is owned by Atlas . Again If That is the pin I Do Apaligize . My spelling suck, probably playing pool , with my Falcon, Yes I have owned them, Instead of speling class . There are some Custom cue makers changeing the Radial Dia. by a few thousands and adding 1/2 tread per inch, just so they are the only one that can service the cue or offer any shafts or joint pro. Dale Perry is one, no one but dale Perry can do anything to his cues becouse he has a custon pin made only for him. Says it hits better. I am not that stupid to think a pin with 8 1/2 treads per inch hits any better than 8 t.p. Inch. Thanks JIm

Hello, since Falcon has stopped production in Canada and the current Falcon cues are being made in China, are these cues are also being produced in China?

Hi Don,

How much you sell the third one from left, it's made of Ebony and has a blank and white wrap. And if I want a Pred. 314 or Z2 shaft instead of the original one, how much more ??

Thanks.

These cues are not made in China

Why did you edit this post, where you said they were made in Taiwan? The thing I was really interested in was if they were made in Canada. In the end it really doesn't matter where they are made as long as people know the Truth. I own a Retail Billiards store, and the reason I asked the question was because I was interested in selling them in my store. However, I have lost interest now, I do not understand what the problem is with where they are made, if you get a chance please explain.

Respectfully

Craig Rittel
