Hello,

I've seen and read many different opinions on the proper method of storing your cue collection: 30%~50% humidity level, upright or horizontal, 68F~78F, vacuum sealed, etc etc etc... For those that have been collecting for a very long time, what is your advice? I understand that it depends on your environment, so everything is taken with a grain of salt.

The cue needs support along it's entire length if you plan to store it for a long time. If you play with the cue, don't worry. Imo, the biggest contributor to warpage with STORED cues is gravity.

Vacuum sealed? WTF! That's for sending fresh donuts halfway around the world.

I hang the shafts by the tips friction free.
I hang the butts @ the joint friction free.

Controlled humidity 44/46% year around.
