Many of you know that I live in El Paso, Tx, home of Ft. Bliss and the 507th Maintenence Battallion. Our entire community has been praying for the safe return of the P.O.W.'s, and today, many of those prayers have been answered. As we celebrate, it is also important to remember the members of the coalition forces that gave the ultimate sacrifice. The irony is that on the day the P.O.W.'s are found and rescued, this obituary also appeared in today's El Paso Times. Let us not forget his sacrifice.

Blackjack,

Thanks for the reminder. IIRC this young man and another were awarded US citizenship posthumously. Small consolation to the parents but I hope they find comfort in the fact that he died a hero.
