To get results from a tournament, first you have to play it. The 2010 World Cup will be played in the Philippines next month.

But perhaps you are talking about the World Secret 9 Ball Championship which is being fought out in Doha Qatar as I type. Shane van Boening, Johnny Archer, Rodney Morris and Charlie Williams all won their openers
but Efren Reyes, Daryl Peach, Darren Appleton must win their next two matches to stay in the event. Reyes could find his way blocked by an ex practice partner Vinancio Tanio and Appleton could suffer the same fate at the hands of Taqi, the turbulent but talented Algerian.
Mark Gray must have wondered what hit him as he plunged to a 9-2 defeat against qualifier Raymond Faraon. But Raymond is a great unknown who qualified along with Oliver Medinillas, Joven Alba, Israel Rota, Allen Cuaterro, Francisco Felicinadas, Tanio (all mid East based Filipinos).
But Raymond is the pick of that bunch.
Englands So Shaw and Taqi filled out the other two spots.
Other US hopes Oscar and Ernesto both have to come back the hard way but Corey Deuel is yet to play.
