Yeah, what she did was very brave and he deserved it and more.

But I can't help noticing your first phrase. *I was having a bad day*, and that was written at 9h00am. I don't know what time you woke up but I suggest you find other good stories like that to help you make it through the day :) because its just starting. Good luck gentleman!

What she did was dangerous and naive. She got away with it but the guy could have easily had a weapon or been a real man that could defend himself.

so what should she have done ?? stood by and let the POS get away with it ?? Thats whats wrong with so many people today ,they dont want to get involved or take care of themselves . The police were not able to catch him and she did . So maybe that will keep his hands to himself for a little while . Yes she could have got hurt , but she could also get hurt crossing the street.
Just my 2 cents .

From reading the story on her blog, it appears that the entire incident took place in areas with many people present, or at least nearby. Save for him pulling out and actually using a weapon, it seems as though she wasn't in danger of him turning the tables on her and it getting very far. Of course, all of those people nearby could have attitudes like the one you display in your post, and might just stand back watching it happen, because he might have a weapon or something. (I say that from the words expressed in your post. I have no idea if you would stand by and watch. It's the attitude that your words convery that makes the argument. No offense intended.)

Bravery is taking a course of action that puts you at risk in one way or another. But doing so because it needs to be done.

Yep, she's a brave lady.

Then let's give her a medal and then pin it to the guy's scrotum.

Don't go to bed, with no price on your head
No, no, don't do it.

Don't do the crime, if you can't do the time,
Yeah, don't do it.

And keep your eye on the sparrow.
When the going gets narrow.

Don't do it, don't do it.

Where can I go where the cold winds don't blow,
Now.

Well, well, well.

Something I posted on another forum that must remain nameless:

Sung to the tune of "Shaft"

OMGWTF

(OMGWTF!)
You're damn right

Who is the woman
That would risk her neck to break a pervert's scrawny neck?
(OMGWTF!)
Can ya dig it?

Who's the cat that won't cop out
When there's danger all about
(OMGWTF!)
Right on

You see this cat OMGWTF is a bad mother--
(Shut your mouth)
But I'm talkin' about OMGWTF
(Then we can dig it)

She's a complicated woman
But no one understands her but her Critter

That sounds appropriate.

Probably more deserving than what he'll get from the judicial system, sadly.

I agree with you to some extent, but calling the cops would have been the same as just walking away and saying the hell with it.
Regardless whether or not it was wise, it surely was ballsy.

This girl probably wouldn't step on an ant, but has the heart to punish evil do-ers. That's f***king hot.

Doing nothing, out of fear, to defend yourself is exactly what these jerks prey on. This is a minor offense but waves huge red flags for the future. How long would it go before he began stalking & raping? Then raping & killing? Jeffery Dahmer began his escapade with mutilating road kill, then drugging & raping, then killing. It all starts somewhere. I'm not saying the dude was a serial rapist killing monster, but really, normal folks don't do stuff like that.

Good for you, Melinda :)

Have you read about what she has been through in her life.

OMG and I have had our issues but she has been through some shit in her life and anything he could have done to her could not compare.

Good for her for standing up for herself.

What she did was right. She stood up for herself when many in her position couldnt do anything about it. This obviously wasnt the first time this guy groped a woman. This guy is a piece of garbage and i think its awesome that she hunted his ass down and got him arrested. Good for you Melinda!
