I don't know who you are?

Just a random person bumping your thread for exposure. See how helpful that is?

Oh and I think bignasty has a question for you about SVB and a 9 footer.

Having a senior moment and thought about having Earl and John McEnroe play a few sets of tennis and a few sets of pool and see who erupts first!

I REALLY want to see Strickland play Sigel on a 10-foot. Sigel is playing great of late, this could be a unreal match.

You have two waiting with bated breath in Alex and SVB. One on a 10 footer and one on a 9. I say get on UStream and flip the coin as to who it should be.

I know this thread is supposed to be meant in jest. It's so true that the stakehorse does take the biggest risk with the smallest amount of return in a pool happening such as an action match. After expenses and the chop-chop, the stakehorse might be lucky to get back 20 percent on the money.

Several years ago, my partner was offered 20 percent from a prospective stakehorse to compete in a game of high stakes, which he declined.

Some backers realize the return on investment is just too doggone risky; thus, why some are only offering 20 and 30 percent to the pool player competitor. I totally understand. It's not a good deal for a backer or stakehorse to enter into one of these arrangements. Just like in horse races, there's never a lock when you're gambling.

Yes, and since Earl always thinks the whole crowd is against him, play this rematch with Efren in the Phillipines. And for once Earl will be right about that.

P.S. I still pull for Earl because I am a longtime fan of his, but he does make it hard to do, sometimes.

efren might have a hard time on the 5x10 with his eyes and back. I think Earl would win that match, get alex in there with him though

That 9 footer 10 ball game with SVB should happen if Earl agreed to that. I think Earl made a bad move agreeing to that but either way a deal should be a deal. It should happen relatively soon too not months apart. Maybe Vegas in May? I'd come sweat that.

Even as good as Earl is playing, with Shane's break I think Shane would take him, although I think it would be closer than the first time.

I like the idea of Earl playing Alex on the 10 footer! Something different and guaranteed to be an interesting match.

Shouldn't SVB have a rematch with Donny Mills on rack your own Barbox first? I think its only fair to give Donny a chance to get his money back.

By the way, the SVB Strickland match was a great deal at 25.00 and I couldn't be happier. Bring on some more PPV matches and I will buy some more!

Efren had both his eyes and back fixed, they may not be 100% but they are better, and his cue ball is so good I don't think he will have to shoot to many hard shots.

I would love to see it.

So whats going on here?? Since Mike G came on here asking for money and got no result he has gone away. Is it because he had a deal with TAR and now can't live up to it?? I just don't think its right to come on here and basically beg for money to sponsor and when either you get no results or you are called on a deal you made before that you can just vanish. Bad form from the Strickland camp in my opinion. MIke??? Mike???

I hope they live up to the agreement they had with TAR.

I don't know if Earl got all of his winnings for his sock drawer
but he's just won $30,000 in less then a month. And I'm sure
their was some side bets won by Earls backers.
Their should be plenty of $$$ in Earls camp allready.

I would like to think that way, but I know there's expenses involved as well as the stakehorse getting their end.

A pool player who makes $100,000 in one year from pool payouts may be lucky to earn (bring home) $50,000 after the chop-chop with sponsors/backers, taxes, and expenses. It's just the way it is.

As one example, a European player was paid $64,000 for a tournament in New Jersey. After the chop-chop and expenses, he earned (brought home) $12,000.
