I'm looking at taking a trip to the Phoenix Area within the next 6 months and would like to plan on playing a tournament while I'm there. My question to the Phoenix area players concerns about getting information about upcoming events. I've checked out the website http://www.azpoolscene.com for some info and I have heard about the Desert City Tour.

Anyone have any suggestions for the best/largest tournament/tournaments in the Phoenix area in the upcoming months?

Thanks,

Darryl

Darryl, you will need to get rated to play in almost any local Phoenix event. Any big room can do that for you. Just go in and talk to the tournament director.

As for events to play in, check out azpoolscene.com or billiardndartnews.com

if you play one pocket
It’s One Pocket Time this Saturday @ Bullshooters in Phoenix, AZ.

For players, practice starts at 11:00am and play starts at Noon (AZ time).

For you One Pocket Lovers not able to make it here, tune in to: www.ontherailtv.com for live stream matches provided by Fast Lenny.

In the meantime here’s a clip from our own Bernie Pettipiece playing trick shots in a match against Jose Parica. You might have to watch it a couple of times to see what happens.

Darryl, you can always find the most current issue of the local Phx pool paper at http://issuu.com/azbilliardanddartnews

Probably better to go there than the website. The damned publisher is lazy about putting the most current stuff up on the website. :)
