Does anyone remember the software, that one of our members come up with to allow selection or fast forwarding to the beginning of another segment or manual selection of any selection..?

It may or may not be freeware, I don't care.

Any help is appreciated... Thanks

What type of video are you watching? Is it online or on your local machine?

Dunno the answer, but I recall it a website service that allowed one to break up videos into chapters. It was a free service as I recall.

VLC meets most of my video watching needs. It can pretty much play anything, and avoid the dreaded need new codec message with Windows Media Player or QuickTime.
Whenever I have a video where I can't fast forward or jump around in WMP or QT, I relaunch it VLC.
