He's in the One Pocket Hall of Fame, but not in the BCA HOF.

He's in the One Pocket Hall of Fame, but not in the BCA HOF.

Jack (Red) was always mainly a one pocket specialist, and occasional 14.1..Also, he didn't often play in tournaments, his forte was mostly action..Its a shame the BCA rarely recognizes gamblers, no matter how deserving they are or how good they played..There are several people in there, who couldn't come close to beating Red, at almost any game!

(*)..Not at all Dean, Jack was a great pool player and also a great guy!..He and his wife Dotty, and I, used to sit at the snack bar at the old LeCue for hours, trying to solve all the worlds problems..In fact, when I was living in Houston, the owner of the LeCue (his name escapes me) used to pay us each $125 a week, (60's money) just to play there exclusively, and nowhere else!..Jack milked it a lot longer than I did..I only lasted about a month!..I hunted action wherever I could find it!..The 60's in Houston, were some really fun (and lucrative) times!

PS..Yes, Jack was a very good all-around athlete!...He probably could have became a pro baseball player, but it infringed to much on his passion for pool ! ;)
