Thanks. I did not watch the match. From reading the stats, it looks like Shane dominated the match. However he only won the entire match by one game. Doesn't seem to make sense.

Alternating break seems to be a major factor. I'm impressed by the number of games played vs. total misses. The number of safeties is vanishingly small as well.

CSI generally puts its matches up on YouTube, but not for several months - a nice balance between protecting their PPV buys and promoting the sport.

If you subscribe to their YouTube channel, you will get an update when new content is loaded.

Nah, it was close. VB jumped out ahead 7-1 on 3 mistakes by H, then H won 5 in a row on two mistakes by VB. Score 7-6. VB got ahead by 2 or 3 a couple times, and H led by 1 twice, but it was tied at 11, 15, 16, 17, 18, and 20. At hill/hill, H's dry break and VB's clearance ended it.

That is brutal. Looking at your stats, hill-hill was the only time Hohmann broke dry and did not foul the entire match.

And here's another way to look at it. There were 22 B&R's, so there were 19 games where the table was passed from one player to the other. In those 19 games, there were 11 "turnovers" by Van Boening and 12 turnovers by Hohmann:

Turnovers:
• Van Boening -- 11 = 2 dry breaks, 2 fouls on the break, 2 other fouls, 4 misses, and one failed safe
• Hohmann -- 12 = 1 dry break, 1 foul on the break, 3 other fouls, 6 misses, and 1 failed safe

Pretty close!
