Here are some results from the Justin Bergman vs. Corey Deuel OB Challenge 8-Ball match played at the Rio Las Vegas Resort & Casino on July 28, 2016. CueSports International provided pay-per-view streaming. Bergman won the match 21-16.

Conditions -- The conditions for this call-shot 8-Ball match included:
- Diamond 7-foot table with 4" pro-cut corner pockets;
- Simonis 860 Tournament Blue cloth;
- Cyclop TV balls, including the red-spot cue ball;
- jump cues allowed;
- breaker racks using the Magic Rack template;
- alternating breaks from anywhere behind the head string;
- table open after the break;
- ball in hand anywhere on the table after a foul on the break; and
- cue-ball fouls only.

Bergman broke 19 times -- successful 14 times (resulting in 13 game wins and 1 loss), 1 foul (a loss), and 4 dry (2 wins and 2 losses).

Deuel broke 18 times -- successful 17 times (resulting in 12 game wins and 5 losses), no fouls, and 1 dry (a loss).

Successful breaks (made at least one ball and did not foul):

Deuel -- 17 of 18 (94%)

8-balls on the break -- None. [Presumably, breaker would have had the option to spot it and continue playing or to re-break (as in the US Open 8-Ball event just concluded).]

Match length -- 3 hours and 31 minutes, for an average of 5.7 minutes per game. [Note: This includes lagging, racking, and the one timeout.]

I love reading your match stats mr. AtLarge but can i make a suggestion for you to include the results of each match(who won and lost) I believe if you read the stats one could figure out the outcome but the general public,including myself, is lazy. I know AtLeast I would appreciate seeing the results

I do give the winner and score. Please read the 3rd sentence of post #1.

Bergman's 10 break-and-run games consisted of 1 alternate-break 4-pack, 2 alternate-break 2-packs, and 2 singles.

Deuel's 12 break-and-run games consisted of 1 alternate-break 4-pack, 2 alternate-break 3-packs, and 2 singles.


[Edit -- An "alternate-break package" means B&R's on a player's own successive breaks under an alternating-break format.]

I see it now so sorry. I guess I'm drawn right to the stats I've always been a numbers guy lol
