What exactly led to these tours folding? I see they were around a few years ago but can't really find info on how they structured their tours.

what was the general opinion from the players?

any other pro tours besides these two in the states in the last two decades?

The reasons are many and varied. The Seminole's shut down all of their activities(pool, motocross, softball, etc) after a tribal member got caught in the cookie jar. There are other things i'm sure but this was part of it. PBT lost Camel and fell apart. Again, there were other reasons but losing their stakehorse was big. I'm sure Jay H. can supply all the details. http://thepoolscene.com/seminole-pro-tour/seminole-tour-suspends-operations-indefinitely http://www.billiardsdigest.com/current_issue/oct_03/story_4.php

Seminole, the person that was pushing the tour passed away, no-one else wanted to continue. (going from memory here)

PBT, depending on who you listen to, the tour owner or the TV/Camel companies wanted too much from one party or the other and pulled the rug from under the tour due to demands, taking out too much money and running or locking out someone and starting their own tour. One side stated that Camel took what Mackey started with them, got rid of him and promoted their own events. "In 1997, Reynolds again promised to sponsor PBTA tournaments, but then backtracked and unveiled its own Camel Pro Billiards tournaments. RJR took over tournaments previously run by the PBTA, solicited players who had played for the association and hired the PBTA's tournament manager."

I'm surprised you did not mention IPT, that had a wonderfully messy blow up, probably a lot more interesting than either Seminole or PBT.

Seminole tour had a ton of videos on a website called "propoolvideo" or something similar, but that site went down a bit ago. I have quite a few of their matches saved on my PC and some are here https://www.youtube.com/user/meed7713
