I posted this in the carom billiards forum as well.

Nguyen vs Choi S.W. from the Verhoeven Open.

This one is close. What do you say?

It's a Facebook link so you may not be able to view without an account. I tried to find the vid elsewhere, but no luck.

The CB touched, it's a good shot. Point given.

I wouldn't say "very" clearly...but I can't argue either way. I know one thing, you can't get any closer and not hit it. But yes, I think they touched. Man that's close! Cool post

Point - the white ball wiggled.
It was so close I can see it being called either way.

When I came home and watched on my computer, I saw the hit.

I take it back...put down the hardware...

Thanks for fixing my link!

the white very clearly moved

It wasn't clear to me. I had to watch it about 10 times before I decided it was good.

When I came home and watched on my computer, I saw the hit.

I take it back...put down the hardware...

I watched it on my phone so I guess it's easier to see on a monitor. At first, I thought the CB just drifted by and slowly curved out as it slowed with the spin wearing off.

I saw no hit. The alteration of path of the cue ball doesn't necessarily indicate contact. Unless there is clear and convincing evidence of contact, no point.
