Here are some TV Pilot Teasers featuring Max Eberle and yours truly. They were shot at Hollywood Billiards in Los Angeles, Ca.

Of course that bastard Max made sure I was scheduled to be there after "Bikini Pool" was long gone!

Enjoy!

How much did Max pay you to scratch on the break? :)

The "break and run" series was painful to watch. Nothing like watching on tv what you normally have to go thru at league nights at your local room :)

I liked the "pro shots" series, with the exception of the hella annoying voice yelling PRO SHOTS in a very excited tone. I also liked it cuz i realized me and corey have the same basic stance when playing :)

the "bikini pool" was so painful i had to stop watching. it just looked like a setup for a bad porno video. i think hot girls in bikinis playing horrible horrible pool is a concept best left untouched. if i wanna watch hot girls, there are videos for that, and if i wanna watch good pool there are videos for that. rarely do those two mesh. on the flip side, how about we take existing members of the WPBA and put them in bikinis and have them play in front of the camara? ;) (i can see it now... THE BATTLE OF THE FISHERS!! or gretta hoffsteader vs karen corr in some strip 9ball... o_0) altho i wouldn't mind at all seeing jennifer baretta in a nice 2 peice.

i didnt watch the celeberity pool segment because of my disdain for celeberties and ball bangers :)

you should modify the pro shots selection to random pros playing a set for $100 or something.

I thought they were all great. I say the more pool, the merrier! That was just too much fun. Thanks so much for posting them. :)

Ya always gotta give folks props for trying out new things.

I like the idea of having different segments like this in one program. I think it provides and interesting comparison between the skill levels and personalities.

The Break and Run segment comes off a little like a "Fear Factor" ripoff which isn't terrible, but the host has got to go.

In the Pro Shots segment, that Cory guy has got to learn to break better. The whole series might fail because of that scratch. :D Seriously, this segment was the the only segment that the personalities of the players seemed genuine. Seeing the bangers in the segment before, I think, makes this segment far more interesting.

The Bikini segment was just poorly planned and executed. What "might" work instead would be a strip pool segment where the players play down to a bikini, maybe mix it up with teams of women vs men just to keep everyone entertained. Overall though, I think this angle is difficult to pull off without looking sleazy and is a waste of time.

The celebrity segment could work as it is.

As long as the people playing are genuine and having fun, I think it could work. Good luck with it!

Maybe Max didn't think you would look good in a bikini. :D

Anyone else notice how Corey lifts his head? He starts standing up on every shot...before he hits the cueball. Common on Corey...form!!!:D

In its own way, I thought it was funny. If the gals want to climb onto the tables "to get a better shot" (like Danny  ), they gotta remember to take their shoes off. ;)

Now I am LOL. If you are lucky its only 10. I was in a made for tv movie many years ago as an extra (Kiss Shot). I was working in CA and kids watched it in Phoenix -- youngest didn't think it was me -- he told my wife it couldn't be Dad -- was told it was something to do with the fat not flat.

Umm, Corey who was doing the text overlays? Apparently they thought that Max's surname can be interchangeably spelled as "Eberly" or "Eberley".

Plus in the "Pro Shots" segment it would have made more sense to overlay the name of each game type on a relevant rack of balls (IE "9 Ball" over an actual 9 Ball rack)

Still good to see someone trying to do something, nothing can ever actually be achieved just sitting back and making sarcastic comments from the sidelines. (Althouth I'm thinking perhaps if I just make a few more sooner or later something great is bound to happen!)

Other than that personally I thought that a combination of the "Break and Run" with the "Pro Shots" would work best. There could be a large audience of APA and league players if this is done right, perhaps pairing an amateur with a Pro.

Corey,

Ok, the Bikini Pool video was like watching a bad Porno movie. I contemplated suicide after watching about 2minutes of it. And the Celebrity pool wasnt that much better.

now Pro Shots and Break N Run, has promise.

Pro Shots would be interesting if it was a couple short sets of like race to 4 or 5, and mixing it up with 7ball, 8ball and 9ball like the video did. And having it be a loser break type of set up.

Same goes with Break N Run, The set up would probably be more interesting if it was a Race to 5 or some sort. Or have it be something like Shooting with the Billiard Pro's !!!

Wow, that was some pieces of amateurish poop-production.
