Here is a pre-serial# 1975 goncalo alves merry widow Tad cue once owned by Vic Morrow (anyone remember Combat?) The cue was a gift from George Brand as indicated on the metal plate. The buttsleeve is engraved with "Vic Morrow." Mr. Morrow, unfortunately, died in a tragic accident while filming "The Twilight Zone" movie. Offered with conditional buyer approval via best offer. Currency, money order or wire transfer of funds. No trades. Certainly a very collectable Tad Kohara cue. Case included in the sale. Thanks, Martin

The butt weighs 23.01oz.
Shaft 1, 3.78oz., 12.83mm
Shaft 2, 3.81oz., 13.12mm

Yes, this is the heaviest cue I've held. Must have been ordered this way. The butt could easily be lightened as it must have metal in the rear to make this weight.

No way!

Is it true?

Vic was a big strong guy but.......

I used to watch Combat every week when I was a kid. Mondays if I remember right, Wednesdays was for Baa Baa Black Sheep. Remember that?

If you wont post a price you must want way too much for this cue.
If one lists something for sale then list a price, if you wanna auction it off go to ebay!!!!!

not sure

of the dates but I sure remember the shows. Read all I could find on Pappy Boyington ( commander of the Black Sheep squadron)

Hey Grumpy, Sorry if you don't approve. Last I knew, you weren't appointed the chief here. I price stuff 99% of the time. Some collectable and vintage cues don't get priced for a good reason that has to do with respect for the potential new owner. I can choose whether to price or not and you can do the same when you sell your cues.

Please offer your cues in any way you see fit.

It amazes me that every time a member presumes to be able to read another's mind, what they always see in there is negative.

Free bump for a historical cue with a celebrity hook.

Thanks

Kevin

Well when i pm you and ask you for a price and i stilll cannot get one , well that just aint right, is it a guessing game ?
I think not,
if you post something for sale and you do not price it, then someone pms you, as i did, and you still wont give a price, what is one to think?
I own several tads and would like to have maybe aquirred this one, but as i said, your probrably just way over priced and you know it.

hey grumpy...........if ya you are worried about a price its obviously too much for you i bet, high end collectables here are the norm, REAL buyers arent window shoppers as you and a few others that dont like when the sellers dont post a price, this is piece of history is waay out of my league but myself and alot of others arent complaining about no price,

someday whaen your all grown up and can afford something like this youll understand!

Martin,

I believe some of the earlier Tads had weight added into the handle portion. I think they drilled a hole sideways and added the weight. I wonder if this is that type?

Good luck with your sale, it's a great piece of memorabilia...and a Tad!
