Exit 137 on Highway 70 is where Mo River Pub can be located.

Next Saturday they will be having a 200 added 8 ball tourney, I think the entry fee is 25 bucks which includes green fee's. Bar adds 200 with 32 players. THe 8 ball tourney is a race to 5 double elimination.

The 4th Saturday they have a 9 ball race to 7 same scenario.
The colder it gets the more entrants they will have.

Tourney and Auction you can win 300-400 on a typical Saturday. Tournaments usually last til midnight or later so clear your social calendar.

Sorry it is in Missouri

Exit 137 off of Highway 70 about 11 miles west of Kingdom City Missouri.:)

Should have a decent field this coming weekend, do not know of any other tourneys this Saturday in Mid Missouri.

They also have a couple nice Gold Crowns for action. It is cheap to play in the tourney and you can play on the open tables after you get knocked out until the Saturday night crowd arrives.

Auction starts usually at 12:30

If you are running late you can call the bar and have them sign you up. Ask for Terry or Troy.
Phone number is 573-474-6699

Come on out it is suppose to RAIN this Saturday. Play some 8 ball and if you get knocked out of the tourney practice on the open tables for a few hours for free or find some action and play someone.

Anyone coming?

We need more players. If you cant play too good? At least you can practice for a few hours after you get roasted for FREE.

Worth the drive if you are within a 100 miles from there?

No one turned away. Masters, legends like Hack from Kirksville, no one.
If you are breathing you can play in this tournament so come on out it is going to be RAINING all day Saturday.

Great day for a tourny.

8 ball race to five no one not allowed

If you like to play 8 ball and do not like to spot anyone or give up games this is your tournament. NO ONE TURNED away. IF you have the entry fee you can play. We do not check any LIST. If you are breathing and have the entry fee you are IN.

Come one out.. 12:30 calcutta. Open to ALL

9 players at millersburg

Hunting season killed the turnout on this overcast day.

Don Crump won the tourny after double dipping John Turpin and Bill Young placed 3rd after playing for the winner's bracket finals.
1st place with auction $175
2nd place with auction $135
3rd place no auction $35, $30 entry place 5 bucks for gas to Bill Young.

Terry Hile says there will be a 9 ball tourney on the 4th weekend for those of you interested even though that is Turkey day weekend.

Well they got 11 players at Millersburg for the race to 7 nine ball tourney.
And, once again Don Crump seized the day.
Don Crump 1st place
Ivan Sweezer 2nd place
Troy Kerkanthal? Sorry about the last name spelling.

According the Don the payouts were similiar to the 8 ball and the auction was weak as it was 2 weeks ago due to the 11 man field.

Next touney 12/12 the same day as the $2000 added Quincy tourney.??
If you are looking for a tourney where most of the best players are not going to be on this weekend this is your tourney.

Stay tuned for updates.

Back in FULL January, February.

On January 9th there will be a 8 ball tourney. With hunting season over this tournament most likely will draw 20-30 players and have a good payout as Troy will add a couple hundred to the tourney and no one is pulling juice from the auction. ALL MONEY goes back into the tourney.

On January 23rd there will be a 9 ball touney.

8 ball is race to 5
9 ball is race to 7

If he think you can beat Don Crump,??? Come on out.

Good tournaments, tables open FOR action as tournament winds down, and no green fee's with tournament entry.

9 ball will be the game this coming Saturday at 12:30.

There will be more than 16 players in Millersburg for the 9 ball tourney in the afternoon tomorrow. I am trying to make it myself since I do not feel like driving to the DCC and back.

So, good tourney. Auction starts at 12:30 or so.

Results as promised, next tourney 2nd Saturday in Feb

I will post results of this tourney tomorrow.
16 players. $25 entry fee including green fee. 1st place $280
More info to come:boring2::boring2::boring2:

Troy Kirkendoll won the 16 man event
Julia Gabriel came in 2nd place
Ivan Sweezer came in 3rd place
Shawn Crisp from Jeff City came in 4th place

Tourny Payouts
1st 160
2nd 120
3rd 80
4th 40
Player Auction
1st 100
2nd 50

I bought one player in the tourney, a steal for $20 bucks. Troy.
The $50 I won paid my entry, the auction and my gas.

I had to pay for my own pork tenderloin sandwich the size of Drew Breese's hand. HUGE. If you cut it in half you could make 2.

After being roasted by the 4th place finisher and Tony Napoli me and Captain Morgan spent a few hours at the tourney. I spoke to some fellow AZ'rs and hope to have more players at the 8 ball the Saturday after the Super Bowl.

The $5 green fee was plowed back into the tourney making this event $80 dollars added.

It is a small event that if you get there at 11 a.m. you can practice for over an hour and a half before the tournament even starts, and after you get eliminated. Hell you would spend 25 somewhere else on table time.:grin-square::grin-square::grin-square:
