Efren plays a safe gets the table back and after a nice shot on the 5, rattles the 6. Brandon runs out for 6-2.

Finally a break goes Brandon's way.
 
Brandon breaks dry and Efren misses position on the 2. He plays a crazy three way shot trying to two rail the two and/or make the 10 and or leave B safe and misses on all three. Brandon locks Efren up.

Brandon negotiates a VERY tough rack and but MISSES the 7. Efren gets out for 7-2. Huge swing. Huge difference between 7-2 and 6-3:frown:

Sounds like Brandon is having trouble getting in gear. I'm going to predict that he gets it together and comes back to make this a close match.

Is this still a race to 15?

The young Mr. Shuff has really evolved over the last few yrs. I enjoy watching a young persons game progress. The fact that he's such a likable, nice young man makes it even better.

Efren breaks dry, Brandon plays a nice safe and gets to the table. Missed position on the 5 and plays another weak safe. He just can't get the speed of this table. Efren two ways the 5 and hangs it. Brandon's snookered and missed the 5 entirely.

Efren gets too straight on the 8 and leaves VERY tough on the 9. Efren forced to use the bridge and makes the 9 with PERFECT shape on the 10.

8-2 Efren.
 
Ok, so I know you all are thinking that this is over, but Brandon is very capable of putting a package together to get right back in this. I haven't met many pool players with as much heart as Bshizzle. Come on B!
 
Efren makes a ball on the break and a nice full table bank on the 1. Plays safe and Brandon is at the table again with no shot.

Agreed. He has had very little chance to get started. If he gets a feel for the table he can at least make this a little more respectable.
 
Efren plays a couple of nice safes and gets ball in hand. Layout is a little tight, but Efren should handle it.
 
Efren gets a little thin shape on the 9 and plays PERFECT three rail shape for the 10 and a 9-3 lead.
