Sweet cue! You are right when you talk about workmanship and playability.
I never have owned one. Just too much money for me,but worth every penny they command.
I have hit balls with quite a few and besides playing very well they all have a consistency of hit.
I think if you took a handful of his cues with the same tips and blindly tried them you could not tell them apart.
The only thing that would slightly separate his cues from each other would be different tips.
If I win the lottery one of his cues would be in the trunk of my new red Cadillac.:grin:
