Corey Deuel Changes to a LD shaft during the Accu-Stats 8Ball "Make It Happen"

He shows up to his Efren match with a handful of what appears to be
OB Classic-Pros or something and plays his match with one of them.

Does anyone happen to know what it was?

Thanks C.D.

He has been walking around with a half dozen plastic tubes with shafts for the last 2-3 days letting Alex try 1 or 2 of them. I don't know what they are but after seeing how Corey played against Efren i think he should throw them all in the garbage...lol.

He is probably selling them I am guessing.

If I remember correctly, during the TAR podcast he mentioned that he has a new line of cues....

Corey and LDshafts

Cannot go by one match.
I think it would take me months to get used to the OB shafts.

So - Corey did pretty well, all things considering.

I'm reasonably certain Corey has been using a Predator shaft for years, with the logo removed...

a few turning stones ago, he was using the Mezz WD700 shaft with the logo sanded off..which he confirmed by calling it the mezz 700 shaft..he also had a elk master tip put on it...

He used his Jacoby butt-Z2 shaft for years and the weight was a whopping 21 or 22 ounces. He won alot with the Z2.

the last TAR with john schmidt he was still using the mezz wd700....on the podcast he shows his cue when talking about his new line and on the closeup when he puts the cue on the table, you can clearly read the logo on the shaft.

OB is testing a newer version of the OB Classic and they've been letting some pros hit a few of them. That could have been it.

Seeing how many straight in 8balls he missed...

He will probably be going back to what worked BEFORE. (a different LD shaft)
