Question 4 the regulars who have been going to Music City Open for the last 10 years.

I have been very curious about a female pro pool player that has come to mind to mind every now and then (and never really forgotten about her, because she was very beautiful, and she played really strong the one and only night that I ever seen her play, which was at the music city open at the only time that I have ever been to it, maybe around 8 or 9 years ago).

I can't remember what year I was there, but it may have been 2006 or 2007 (my memory is very bad, but I know that it was one of the years within the last 8 to 10 years).

I am thinking that she may have been maybe 25 years old, but I have no idea.

She may have been younger then that, but is is always kind of hard to tell the age of girls.

Anyway, I thought she was really pretty, and I was very impressed with her game.

She had a slow and controlled style of playing I think, and she was really strong in my opinion (and not for a girl).

I think she was doing really good in the ladies event, and I heard that she was playing in the open event too (the same one that Johnny Archer was in).

Anyways, she has never really left my mind, and I have always wanted to see her again (and watch her play, and maybe even meet her, lol), but have not been able to make it back to the Music City Open in all these years since then.

Does anyone here (that has been a regular at the Music City Open for at least the last 10 years) have any idea of who the lady that I am thinking of might be?

Thanks for any thoughts about who she might be.

The only female that has played in the open division in the past 4-5 years is Brittany Bryant. Anything further back than that I'm not sure.
Good luck with your search!

Brittany Bryant, pretty blonde and excellent player, plays in both the women and mens tourney.

I was thinking it may have been Brittany Bryant, but was she playing back in like 2006? I wish I could remember what year I was there, but I think I was around 26 at the time, and that would have been early 2007 (since I think that the Music City Open is in January, or February?). Whoever she was, I was really impressed with her game. She was a very strong player, and very smart. So, when did Brittany Bryant start playing really good, and how old was she when she started competing on the pro level? Thanks.

Yeah, the lady that I am thinking of would be at least in her early 30's now. I can't really remember the details of what she looked like, but she was very pretty (and young, early to mid 20's maybe, but not sure). She was slender, but can't really remember what she looked like. I am thinking she was blonde, but not sure. It was back before JOB's changed ownership. Chuck Raulston had a match with Bobby Pickle in the Midnight Madness tournament (the night that I was there) if that gives a hint as to what year it took place. Nick Varner was there promoting his line of cues, and Archer was there playing in it. Josey Parica was there. I am pretty sure that Gabe Owen was one of the players that I also seen there. Can't really remember any other details about that night, but I was with friends, and they were my ride back home in Illinois, and they wanted to leave out at around the same time that Midnight Madness started. The place was so packed full of people that it was very difficult to even walk around the place. Always wanted to go back, but have not been able to since then.

In 2006 Brittany would have been 15.

Might have been Pam Treadway. "A" player (by men's standards) since she was a teen. She's about the age you describe and an attractive girl.

One thing I'm not clear on from your multiple posts ... was she pretty?

Seriously though. Stalk much?

Lol, no, I do not wish to stalk her. I am not a stalker, lol. Would just love to see her play again. I was mainly just very impressed with her game. She was super strong (reminded me of Allison Fishers game). Very smart player, and very strong. I was worried that asking about some girl that I never knew would make me sound strange. I imagine she might think I am pretty strange too, for asking about her, if she were to see this thread. I just did not know any other way to describe her, other then to ask about some female pool player that I seen (at JOB's during the Music City Open) that played very good, and really impressed me.

I just looked up a picture of Pam Treadway, and I think that is her (if she was there at the Music City open back in 2006 or 2007). It may have even been as far back as 2005. My memory is not too good, but I know that it must have been 2007 or before. Thanks for the info. I have always just been very curious about who that girl was. She really had a great game, and looked like she could be or become a top pro.

If it was pam tread way, she learned at her father's poolroom the silver cue in that area (might have been in Lexington, Kentucky)
Dominated the planet (later called tiger) pool tour. At 16 years of age, only woman in glass city open 2003 and came in the money. Top amateur woman at super billiards expo 2005, 1st place 2nd chance at expo 2006, 2nd place in 2007. Played in the world straight pool tournament as only woman in NYC a couple years ago and came VERY close to advancing. So, she started out in the area you speak of and now lives on the east coast and is sponsored by tiger cues.

That is very interesting info. I guess she no longer plays in the Music City Open, if it is just Britney Bryant these past number of years.
