Love for the game I believe you have to want to practice and work hard to be good no matter what you chose to do. If you don't love holding a cue and controlling a cue ball dropping numbered balls in pockets, you'll never be good no matter how hard you work, and that comes from inside.

When counting the number of inlays on a cue, do all pieces count or just the ivory?

Thanx It was the trivia question when I registered for this site. I thought I got it right but it came back as "incorrect". Maybe it was my mistake thinking the question was about a pool player?

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but the only "South Dakota Kid" I know of is Shane Van Boening.
