Ko Ping Chung breaks and makes a ball but doesn't shoot the next shot with the 1 in front of the corner pocket. Is there a rule I'm missing here?

It was a beauty but the original shine had worn off by the time I got it in my hands. Needs a re-wrap too. This cue made me fall for plane jane cues.
