The guy knew less that me about sticks and was thrilled with 500. I probably could have gotten them for 100 but I knew they had to be worth more than that.

Yeah I figured that when I started research on them. Kicker was I had like ten minutes to decide. I'm still a little surprised that I pulled the trigger.

Actually 2 questions: How can I be sure a stick isn't stolen? How can I be sure it's not a chinese knockoff? I bought two sticks from a guy who bought them at an estate sale. I thought I had made a good purchase at $500 for the pair. I'm certainly no expert, but they looked like quality cues...
