I suggest everyone agree to a $3.50 increase per spot. Everyone's # remains the same. Go on with the drawing, redraw on next date if a blank is chosen until someone hits their number. Or bump to the top and just fill up the rest of the 11 spots....NOW!

Now...what about the other end of the chart? Should shorter players use a cue under 58"? I'm 5' 3" and I was thinkin if a slightly shorter cue might assist my game. I know this is definitely not as common as with the big boys. Does anyone have input or know of anyone that use ... let's say a 57"?

What about local one/two day (tour) tournaments? Or weekly tournaments?

That is great, congrats! I didn't get to start shooting until age 16 myself. Although I'm only 25 now, whenever I see a young poolplayer that is determined and have heart for the game, it puts a smile on my face.

Sorry for the vague description of "real." I was trying to look for a room with nice ppl (poolplayers and not a public crowd) who are just enjoying their time shootin pool. A room with well-kept tables and cloth. Not a room where everyone is just trying to rob you.
