So looking like they will have to hold 30+ qualifiers if only a max of 4 make it from each one. Thats a lot of qualifiers to schedule. Wonder how many will be in the US?
I have the same one as my first. P-90. it got broken once. So I had Viking refinish it later. They couldn’t salvage the brass pin. So it has a newer style joint. And while there they put white with black speck on it. Viking must’ve liked the design when they got it in because they started...
Easy Double kiss. Ball sitting by the side next ball over it. A little angle to pocket the OB. If you cut it you just overran the next ball. If there’s traffic you are screwed or banking the next ball. Hit the OB into the nipple with center. Double kiss and pocket. Works every time once you...
Ah well. Once an 8 ball player always an 8 ball player.
Little story here. As I’ve been getting slack on my 9 ball breaking in another thread.
So when I was 18 I started frequenting the hall. I was only good at 8 ball. Even played an adult league at 13yrs old and was a 5 then. Well everybody...
I always leave the hall with my pockets empty or leave the coins on the table when they are not….had a little green squishy from my daughter to mark pockets with in APA for a while though. And before that a pink one. They don’t last long in your pocket before they turn to junk.
Oh man. I have never seen so many people so critical about a 480’s break before. You can’t have it both ways guys. I should leave it at that, as a funny, but will explain something to you all.
You don’t understand the point of the break. I was playing the pro ghost. You need a look at the...
Ill even add that and say Pool hall junkies wasn’t even about gambling. It was about a guy and his struggles to get to the pros. It was actually stated gambling was a bad thing not gambling was good throughout the whole movie. It was even stated in the first scene that all Vince wanted was to go...
Nothing different from a tournament and playing Mano y Mano. You are putting in money to test your skill against others and trying to make money in the process. Some people prefer higher stakes and that in turn gets some in trouble. Makes for a more interesting plot. I always find it odd that...
Haha. Thanks JV. I can tell by your assessment that we play the table a bit different. And the near scratch to the side was the fourth rack when I had to swerve the cb
Man. You all are so serious. Thats cool. I like it Thanks for the review guys. I do take them seriously.
This was only in response to people claiming that I couldn’t have an 18% break and run percentage in 9 ball with a 480 fargorate.
Easy. For the record I had the same PSR every shot. It...
Yeah I’ve noticed there are a higher percentage of APA3-6’s with their own chalk cubes then 7/9’s. I think it’s just to make the lesser players feel special(and take their money)……. Plus that chalk makes the balls sticky. Never had so many head balls sticking to the rack before the designer...
Our team pulled it off. I told them Tuesday we needed at least 7 to stay in first. Our first 2 players 3-0’d then next 2 lost bad. I had to go in there and get that last point. I was playing like crap, but threw up like 12 safeties to wear down the other guy and get to the hill. He won the...
sorry for the snide remark
My whole point is You can work on your skill set and practice almost any game yourself before looking for somebody to play. You don’t need to find somebody to play to learn those games. Once you kind of know how to play them, then find other people to play with you.
