I agree with you that the sniper tip does glaze... I wouldn't pick at it... layered tips could fall apart that way... I use a med grit sand paper to just lightly scratch the glaze off... this process works great :)
saying it plays hard... I have to say the sniper leans to the softer side of...

I have to agree with both your points... For one the Tiger Sniper tip is a great combo with the OB shafts. Secondly it took me just under a month to adjust to the ob shaft... which in the long run was well worth it... 15 mins isn't enough to judge these fine shafts.
I would stay away from Jenor cues... Maybe three years ago his cues were okay quality but his work lately is crap... Cue will warp, shafts are junk... my advice... save your money
