What did the IPT do that was right?

Whatev. Ban me if you want. That clown puts a link in his sig file that leads to a hijack virus that's had me on clean-up duty for the last hour and you think I'm not going to get "sharp tongued" about it? Feel free to protect someone who's either knowingly looking auto install malware or is...

Hey assclown, thanks for giving my computer a drive by virus. Serves me right for clicking on your sig link to see what your company is all about I guess.

8 year old in the "Pit" at SBE

The 80's called. They want their old, tired cliché reference back.

8 year old in the "Pit" at SBE

It's not about the morality of gambling. It's about how pool is viewed by non-pool players. The world sees pool as smarmy and backroom because of its reputation. Allowing little kids in the pit (let alone gambling in the pit) just solidifies the game's rep in the eyes of non-pool players.

New Hollywood pool movie trailer released (actually really good)

Please. If you actually read my blog, you'd see that for years I've had nothing but nice things to say about one of your friends. As for writing about you, once you do something of note, I'll be happy to give you some virtual ink, be it positive or negative. Take off hoser.

New Hollywood pool movie trailer released (actually really good)

Oops, I forgot I'm not supposed to mess with the clique. I was responding to your statement that "This is the first quality pool production in nearly a decade". As I'm sure you know, with a decent camera and a lick of talent, you can make anything look like a "quality production". Seriously...

    SBE smoking/parking?

Parking completely blows. As for the smoking, the official rule is that there is no smoking in the pit, however people stick to that rule about as well as they stick to the posted "no gambling" rules.

New Hollywood pool movie trailer released (actually really good)

/groan No stars + no distribution + a director, writer and production team who have never done anything of note = $1.99 bin at Wal-Mart (assuming it ever gets completed). Maybe this movie should be nicknamed "the Jesus Christ of pool" since it will clearly be the savior of the billiards...

    WPBA Regional Championship

Figure there to be 4-5 events for the year (including the Masters event from last month). Masters, Viejas (I haven't heard anything about a cancellation of that one), Oklahoma and a couple others.

The nasty effects of trick shots on espn

Good f'ing grief. Can't people just bang some balls around and have a good time? Do we all have to aspire to be Efren Freaking Reyes?? Who the hell cares if some guys are hitting some balls around and trying to make shots that they have no shot at sinking. Seriously, you're so sickened by...

    Let's bombard ESPN with complaints

ESPN will show love to anything that can pull decent ratings. Pool doesn't pull ratings, so it gets used as counterprogramming against stuff that the majority of people want to watch (NFL). It is filler, plain and simple. When programming consistently pulls around a 0.2 Nielsen number...

    camel tour

Fraud, breach of contract, promoters not playing nicely with sponsors, blah, blah, blah. Panozzo over at Billiards Digest probably said it best: "The Camel Pro Tour, having separated itself from the Professional Billiard Tour three years earlier, finally pulls the plug completely on pro pool...
