    Tony Layne Break Jump

Wow beautiful work! Did you tell him up front what you wanted, or did he reach out once he started the work? I'm a custom rookie

Quick question. When you ordered the cue did you have input on diameter, etc?

    Masters Chalk

Amen! Blue diamond is the balls! i put painters tape on mine to make it stick out and ensure i keep it (cuz i can't bring myself to buy/use a chalk holder). It doesn't matter what color it is because it doesn't come off on your hands or cue.

Looking for medium to hard tip

I've found the few tiger sniper tips that i've had were great. lasted a long time and didn't require too much maintenance. i don't know what they're durometer value is, but they are middle of the road in cost (for a layered tip), and seemed harder than the onyx i'm running now (which is labeled...

best tip tools for installing tips?

    Blue Diamond chalk/Euro pocket chalker

i chalk a lot, so how long it stays on the tip isn't as important. However, i shoot righty, but chalk with my left hand. This means that when i'm using masters my shaft starts to get gunked up and blue quickly. I've noticed that with the blue diamond the chalk stays off my hands CONSIDERABLY and...

best tip tools for installing tips?

i'm sure there are plenty of post about this somewhere else, but i'm new so i'll bite... I really like the Cue top sander from tweeten (once you take off the existing tip with a utility knife). Locktite (gel) glue is what i use. let it sit for an hour, then shave it down with the utility knife...

    QClaw cue holder

Amen on the weight thing. I was a captain for a while on a league team so I bought the 5 claw. you can easily rest one on each end too. they are GREAT, but my case weighs a ton. Think i might get a little 2 claw now that i'm not on the team anymore. AWESOME customizing post guys!

My thoughts on Tiger Onyx vs. Kamui tips

I've been playing with an onyx for a while now. I like it, but i have to say i prefer the sniper. i was a die-hard sniper fan for years when i saw the onyx come out. labeled a sniper that was softer and didn't harden over time (the snipers' big draw back). I must say though, the sniper holds...
