It is a beautiful cue; I really like those two woods together but I am just puzzled by something, why would a cue maker do a brand new cue with two different shaft tapers and two completely different hitting tips- one very soft and one much harder. Did someone order the cue that way ; because I am just not getting why one would make a cue with two new shafts set up to play very differently? As a player, if I need to change shafts on my cue- I would want them to be constructed as close as possible to each other.

I am not knocking the cue at all- I am very much drawn to it, just a bit puzzled:unsure::unsure:

I would do it simply because I prefer a smaller diameter shaft so I would probably get a 13mm and a 12.70mm shaft. 13mm for resale and 12.7 for daily playing.
